Unorganized Militia of Vermont

The original name of the consitutional militia of Vermont was know as the "Green Mountain Boys," dating back to the Revolutionary War. Green Mountain Boys defend the liberties and constitutional rights of all inhabitants of the state of Vermont.

The unorganized militia of Vermont (UMOV) is comprised of all law-abiding and peaceable men and women Vermonters ages 17 to 45 or 45 to 64 with prior military service.

We are a true constitutional militia here for the defense of our freedoms. Therefore we will not tolerate persons with racist views or advocate violence toward any other groups or persons. (We are not anti-government). We support the constitutional government established for us by our forefathers. Our goals are to protect and defend those liberties enshrined in our state and U.S. Constitutions. we are here to fight against tyranny.
